EZShard is a personal/hobby project that helps groups split bulk purchases (like Costco runs) fairly. It is provided "AS IS" with no warranties of any kind — express or implied. This is not a commercial product.

We collect only what's needed to operate the service:

• Account info — Email, display name, and (via Google) your profile name and avatar URL.
• Receipt data — Item names, prices, quantities from receipts you upload.
• Room participation — Which rooms you join and what items you claim.

• Authentication — Verify your identity via Google OAuth or magic link.
• Room features — Show your name/avatar to room members, calculate splits, track claims.
• Service operation — Maintain your session and provide core features.

• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising or marketing.
• We do not run analytics trackers or third-party profiling scripts.

EZShard uses session cookies only (managed by SuperTokens) to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies.

Your data is retained while your account exists. Inactive rooms may be cleaned up periodically. Want your data deleted? Contact us below.

• SuperTokens — Managed authentication cloud. Their privacy policy applies to auth data.
• Cloudflare — DNS and tunnel services. Standard Cloudflare terms apply.
• Google OAuth — Google's privacy policy governs data they share with us.
